Hexarthra
Hexarthra

Hexarthra is often found in temperary pools, a niche made possible by its production of resistant eggs. Upon contact with other organisms (or any object in the water) Hexarthra bounces away using its powerful arms, a useful escape behavior in an environment where a touch is often a prelude to being swallowed.
